A mod installed from the Mods page
Section titled “A mod installed from the Mods page”- Create a backup.
- Stop the server on the Console page.
- Go to Mods and open the Installed tab.
- Select Remove next to the mod.
- Confirm. This deletes the downloaded files and removes the mod from the server’s configuration.
- Start the server and check the console and your world.
A mod you installed by hand
Section titled “A mod you installed by hand”- Create a backup and stop the server.
- In Files, delete the mod’s files from the mods folder your game uses (see your game’s guide).
- If you added the mod to a config file or mod list, remove it there too.
- Start the server.
If the world is broken afterwards
Section titled “If the world is broken afterwards”- Restore the backup from step 1 with Restore safely… on the Backups page. The mod is still uninstalled, so either reinstall it, or ask the mod’s community how to remove it cleanly.
Expected result

- Removing world-changing mods mid-game. Check the mod’s page for removal advice first.
- Not telling players. They may need to remove it on their side too.

|---|---|---|
